Naturally Exciting

I found myself really enjoying the sun today. It was amazing. The weather couldn't have been any better. However, my skin got kinda dry. I tried looking for my usual moisturizer but my roomie had used it up and replaced it with this other stuff. It was this really good natural moisturizer. I would have never thought that it would have made me feel natural and beautiful. I am excited about this discovery; weird huh? I think I'm going to get some more herbal products.

Fingers and Foundation = YUCK

I hate applying foundation with my fingers! I never realized much bacteria actually got on my face when I did that. That is why they have MAKEUP BRUSHES, make up sponges, and the like. Was I in a daze before? hha.

Makeup Wedges

I love makeup brushes don't get me wrong. But I just bought some new liquid foundation and brushes clearly won't work with it. Are makeup wedges bad for your skin? You know, the spongey kind. Revlon has some awesome ones that were next to my foundation, but I was just hesitant. I don't want to break out. If I get a ton of them, shouldn't be a problem, should it?

I love Kohls Makeup Brushes

I love kohl's makeup brushes. They are cheap, look great, and match everything you buy. AHHH. I didn't think I'd ever like anything in that store. But they really outdid themselves and impressed me w/ this one. I plan on ordering/buying their entire brush kit and set. It will be a good xmas present too, especially for my suitemates and cousins. Yay!

How do I fix a brush?

Got up this morning only to find that my makeup brush was broken. The bristles were strange, and the hard part of the stick was in half. My sister probably broke my cosmetic masterpieces, but is there any way to glue it back together? I spent so much money on my makeup brushes, I dont want to spend any more. :( My best friend, who is a makeup artist at MAC told me she may just get me a free one.

Makeup Brushes

I just reviewed a few products for my local cosmetics magazine... it went pretty well.

I was able to try: Beauty Shapers Travel Face Brush.

I loved it because it was small, compact, and very smooth. It felt great against my face. I think I may actually use it from now on, especially since I got it for free. :) It was awesome to be able to write for a real publication and have an audience. Too bad it was just for a brush!
